IoE-Enabled nodes

A node is a LI-COR IoE Module that has been connected to LI-COR Cloud. An IoE Module with an LI-710 constitutes a Water Node.

You can view nodes that are Owned by you (you are the sole or primary administrator), and nodes that have been Shared With You.

Options for Nodes that you own include Edit, View Dashboard, and Share. For nodes that have been shared with you, you likely have a restricted set of options.

• Edit the node properties, including the Name, Shared with, data download settings, and ownership. See Editing node properties.
• Dashboards include the groupd dashboard, the node dashboard, and the sensor dashboard. See Node dashboards.
• Share a node with others by adding individuals or groups. See Sharing a node.

Editing node properties

Node properties are applied when it is created, but you can edit them any time. Select Nodes and click Edit for the node-of-interest.

• The Name is how the node is identified in LI-COR Cloud.

• The table of Shared with lists groups and operators that the node has been shared with. The plus button (add new) opens the Share options, while the minus button allows you to remove a group or operator.

• Data Settings specify whether your data will require a citation for download. When checked, the citation is given in the interface and provided with the data.

• Finally, you can Reassign Ownership of the Node. By reassigning this node you will no longer have control over where the information goes and this node will be removed from all users and groups.

Sharing a node

Click Share to add collaborators, which can include individuals or groups.
