NEW LI-550

TriSonica® Mini

Wind and Weather Sensor

Get a Quote

The LI-550 TriSonica® Mini Wind and Weather Sensor is a compact, lightweight sonic anemometer and weather sensor with low power requirements. It is small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, yet it is a powerful and highly accurate tool for atmospheric monitoring, weather reporting, and ecosystem research.

With a measurement path of 35 mm and weight of 50-67 grams, its size and featherweight profile make it perfect for many uncrewed aerial systems (UAS), while the fact that it has no moving parts allows it to be stationed on fixed or portable towers for real-time 3-dimensional* air flow measurements. It provides wind speed, direction, temperature, humidity, pressure, tilt, and compass data.

The LI-550 also provides measurements of all three dimensions of air flow. The open path provides the least possible distortion of the wind field. Because there are four measurement paths, the path with the most distortion can be removed from the calculations to provide more accurate wind measurements.

LI-550F flat base and LI-550P pipe-mount base

The LI-550F has a flat base for a variety of mounting options. The LI-550P features a pipe-mount base accommodating any 1/2” DN15 Schedule 10 pipe or thin-walled 22 mm carbon fiber pipe. Data and power wires are run through the mounting tube for a streamlined appearance and protection from rotors. Tripod adapters are available for both models.

LI-570 TriSonica Data Logger

The LI-570 TriSonica Data Logger is small, lightweight, weather-resistant, and can collect data from multiple devices, including multiple TriSonica sensors.
